We were asked to work with Southampton FC on a campaign to boost interest in their evening match against Fulham, to get as many fans in through the turnstiles as possible and help create an amazing atmosphere for a vital fixture.
A midweek Premier League game under the floodlights has an extra sense of drama and the club wanted to create a multi-channel campaign that not only conveyed the detail of the ticketing offers, but also tapped into the importance of the match and the excitement and emotions around it.
We created a versatile design, pairing a striking photo collage bursting with colour and drama with bold, expressive typography. This was rolled out across a variety of digital assets including email and social to reach as wide an audience as possible. The campaign resulted in a large attendance figure close to the season average and the fans were rewarded with an excellent Saints victory.
