Creating an affinity with young fans, the future backbone and brand advocates of the club, were key objectives for Southampton FC’s new membership campaign.
Commonly given as gifts, we created 3 age specific packs with the wow factor, each providing excitement and a sense of ownership to junior members.
As well as leading the creative, we spun our designs across age appropriate gifts. Specific attention was given to customising mascot ‘Sammy Saint’ to each sector, simplifying him and applying repetitive patterns for the 0-3’s. We then added movement and shading to him for a more dynamic Sammy, and finally swapping out the mascot for an illustrated player and idol for the last step of junior membership.
From messaging to print, imagery and design, we pushed the brief to create something unique for each fan group including Adult Membership.
