Creating a campaign to speak to Saints young and old

We worked with Southampton Football Club on a multi-channel campaign looking to increase season ticket retention and boost acquisition of new season ticket holders.

Whilst the fanbase of a football club shares the common desire of success for their team, its makeup is multifaceted, with supporters of all ages and demographics. Key to the campaign would be developing a visual style that would appeal to the entire audience and have the flexibility to house unique imagery and messaging that would resonate with specific audience segments.

Based on the campaign strapline “Never miss a moment”, we produced a wide range of distinctive assets across both digital and print. This included direct mail and emails announcing the campaign, follow-up emails thanking fans for purchasing, web banners, social media content and web landing pages. We also provided a variety of matchday assets such as big screen and LED adverts, along with concourse and matchday programme adverts.

Saints have sold more season tickets for next season already than they did for the whole of the last campaign...It is believed that the club have sold almost 20,000 season tickets so far this summer with around two months of sales still left to go.
